David Gonzalez founded Chico's Custom Trim in the DFW area after years of developing his craft through residential construction, remodeling and detailed custom work. The company was created to give clients a more personal experience—one built on listening, problem solving and pride in the finished result.
The business was named after Chico, the dog who was at David's side when the company began. That name remains a reminder that trust is personal and that every project represents someone's home, investment and vision.

How We Work
Clean joints, accurate alignment and thoughtful transitions are treated as essential—not optional.
Floors, furniture and surrounding areas are protected while the work is completed, supported by HEPA and Festool dust-control practices.
Clients understand the scope, available options and next steps before work moves forward. Inquiries are typically answered the same day or within 24 hours.
Materials, installation methods and repairs are selected for a durable finished result, backed by a one-year workmanship warranty.
